Scholarly
Activities:
- During
my sabbatical in 1996-1997, I co-directed, with Kent McClelland,
an ethnographic study of a local
human-services agency, Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA). This
study is funded under an "Early Head Start" Health

MICA's success in transforming itself into a "learning

social service agencies.
