Depot Crossing restuarant closed for repairs

Since late December, the Depot Crossing has traded its usual air of vibrancy for a more dormant scene of billowing tarps and empty parking spaces. That's when its closed for renovation as part of an upcoming change in ownership. Previous restuarant operators Paul and Kalyn Durr cited their family life as the reason for leaving the business, but they will supervise the transition to the new tenants which is slated to finish in April.

'Secrets' critisized for censorship, content
On December 11, a week after they unveiled "Secrets," an anonymous forum on Plans, the Plans administrators announced that they would screen future Secrets posts. Nearly six weeks later, secrets are being filtered but neither an official announcement nor an explanation has been released.

Basketball gears up for pair of tough home games
The men's basketball team has had a strong season up to this point, with a competitive conference record and only one loss at home. Over the long break, the men's team went 5-2, including four very important conference wins. Their lone conference loss came on the road at the hands of the undefeated Lawrence University Vikings.

Swimming and diving teams ready to rock at conference

Piorneers look to even conference record over weekend
While many students spent their winter break relaxing and catching up on sleep, the Grinnell women's basketball team practiced for a month and a half and played a total of eight games. The squad went 3-5 over the break, including two wins at home. However, after dropping three road conference games in a row, it will be a difficult climb for the Pioneers to get back near the top of the Midwest Conference.
