Assault and burglary top Security concerns so far this year

South African Fulbright professor arrives on campus
After an exhausting 30 hours of travel, Visiting Fulbright Professor Hein Willemse finally arrived in Grinnell. The arrest of some friends by U.S. immigration officials complicated his journey, but fortunately, Willemse said, he did not encounter suspicion.

Talking with faculty about about depression
This past Wednesday, Dr. John Westefeld, a counseling psychologist and professor at the University of Iowa, admitted in his talk to faculty that he had ulterior motives for trying to educate Grinnell faculty about the signs of potential suicide cases.
