Students on their way to classes on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 18 noticed a new sign on the west side of Noyce Science Center. Someone had written “Yay Red Sox! Yay America! Yay Grinnell Collegge [sic]! I hate myself,” in orange spray paint. The word “hate” was unclear, and may have been written over the word “love.” Steve Briscoe, Director of Security, said he did not know if the incident was related to previous acts of vandalism this year. Security is currently investigating, though Briscoe said there are no suspects yet.
