Learning with Teachers
“It’s strikingly similar to a student course, except the participants in class are thinking more quickly,” said Liz Allan ’04 of the faculty seminar “Post-Post Modern: Globalization, Symbolic Capital and Resistance.” As one of four Center for the Humanities student fellows, Allan shares the seminar with faculty as well as John Porco ’04, Sabrina Ross ’03.5 and Shaun Southworth ‘03.5. Founded in 2001, each fall the Center for the Humanities coordinates several student fellowships and one post-baccalaureate fellowship. As the post-baccalaureate fellow, Jeff Bergman ’03 pursues independent research in addition to attending the seminar. [more]
