Mac Field goes ultimate
Imagine the chaos of 19 ultimate Frisbee teams along with various mascots (including the much famed Grinnellephant) invading the Grinnell campus over a two day span. Anyone who happened to pass by Mac Field this weekend and witness the chaotic plethora of Ultimate games in action would have witnessed but a small piece of this intricate event, as the men’s and women’s Ultimate Frisbee teams hosted the two-day tournament on Sept. 20 and 21, the first at Grinnell in half a decade.

Women’s tennis, at the top of its game, declines to go to ITA regional
“Why would we want to go the ITA regional tournament?” said Shweta Khajuria ’07 of the women’s tennis team. “We’ve been on the road the past two weeks; we need a break.”
