Picturing Grinnell

It's finally here! On Saturday May 8th, Rachel Sandler, Megan Drechsel and Diana Grimes will be holding a release party at Stewart Library in downtown Grinnell for their newly published book, Picturing Grinnell: A Look at an Iowa Town in its 150th Year. The book, a collection of black and white photographs taken by community members, depicts Grinnell through various settings and seasons. Drechsel, Grimes and Sandler came up with the idea for the book in honor of Grinnell's sesquicentennial anniversary. The book will also be distributed next Monday at Cowles from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., next Tuesday at the Forum from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and next Tuesday at Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
