There once was a girl from Grinnell
Last Thursday was one of those times when sleep deprivation reached such a peak that I actually transcended the normal sensations of exhaustion and became strangely loopy for a number of hours. This might have been due to stress or to excessive amounts of caffeine or even an overdose of poetry as of late. Perhaps it was due to all three. In any case, I awoke Friday morning to discover that while I was in my sleep-deprived haze I apparently decided that I should utilize my English major knowledge of rhyme and meter and dedicate myself to limerick writing. The following poems were written and titled during this brief spell of poetic genius. [more]

Loose lips sink (relation)ships but also keep them afloat
To share or not to share. That is the question. If you just had a sexual experience that made any impression on you (and they usually do) there is often the urge to tell someone or ask them questions. If it were good, you’re beaming and want to sing the glorious details to the sky. If it were just okay, you want to know how to make it better. If it were poor, you wonder if anyone else has to go through what you did. But sex can be a strange topic to talk about. [more]
