Smoking ban considered
President Russell Osgood and other members of the administration have proposed a smoking ban in all campus buildings. According to SGA President Liz Allan ‘04, Osgood told the SGA cabinet about the proposed ban three weeks ago. Currently all academic buildings and ten of the residence halls are smoke-free. If the ban is enacted, the remaining nine residence halls would be smoke-free as well.

Spring or fall?
Beginning next year, students applying to study off-campus during the 2005-2006 academic year will have to select first and second-choice programs in different semesters, both fall and spring.

Money matters
Getting money from SGA may become easier if Joint Board approves a current proposal to streamline SGA’s finances next week. If the proposal is approved, there will be an official bylaw amendment and unofficial recommendations for how the SGA treasury should operate.
