The Conference Champion women’s soccer team had five selections.  Named to the First Team were midfielder Sarah Evans ’05, striker Rachel Moskowitz ’06, defender Megan Pluskis ’04 and midfielder/defender Dana Price ’05.  Goalkeeper Liz Carrier ’07 was voted to the Second Team.  Grinnell finished the year with an 11-6-1 overall mark and were 8-0-1 in the MWC.  For Evans, Grinnell’s leading scorer again, it is the third time she’s made the First Team.

The men’s soccer team had two selections, both First Team picks.  Defender Danny Cochrane ’03 was also a Second Team pick in 2001.  Alex Tucker ’05, in his first season as a starter, received the nod from league coaches as the top goalkeeper.  Grinnell finished their injury-plagued season with a 6-7-2 overall record and were 4-3-2 in the league.
