Television networks may be trapped in a reality TV rut, but Grinnell is freeing the genre from visual clutter with Trapped in Darby, its own KDIC soap opera. Trapped, masterminded by Nick Lloyd ’04 and Aron Szapiro ‘04, airs Saturday mornings from ten to 12. [more]

Fleeting movements
With just nine students in Dance Troupe this semester, the group found itself trying new things and bringing in a variety of other students in order to uphold its high standard of quality while trying to avoid overtaxing the dancers. The result of this endeavor can be seen in the group’s upcoming performance, entitled “Fleeting Fictions,” that opens Thursday, April 17 at 8 p.m. in Roberts Theatre. [more]

Concert Preview
The jury is still out on whether or not the name “Fresh Flutes” is a good one for the Grinnell College flute choir; some think it’s lame, others like it because it isn’t simply the “Grinnell College Flute Choir.” And the flute players at Grinnell do indeed break out of traditional ensemble and section molds.
