Life through a lens: High school senior Lee Buchenau has made films for 11 years and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon
Pocky, a version of the famous Rocky, was 18-year-old Lee Buchenau’s “first actual movie.” Although the film, created the summer before Buchenau entered high school, is “still a favorite,” the Grinnell High School senior has since progressed in his filmmaking, winning an award, submitting films to the Grinnell College Film Festival and planning for a future in filmmaking.
