Women try to reverse fortunes vs. IC: Pioneers take six-game skid into tomorrow’s 1 p.m. season-capper
The Roman Empire was not built in one day, and so for the Grinnell Women’s Basketball team to go from three wins in four years to nine in one is particularly impressive. However, after a 9-5 start, the conference grind has gotten the best of the Pioneers in the last three weeks. The team had a strong start against non-conference teams, but has had difficulty posting many wins within the Midwest Conference. The team is currently on a six game slide which culminated in a loss to Lake Forest, 80-64. [more]
