Leah Bry ’04 describes herself as “a collector of crap.” But unlike some pack rats whose “treasures” overflow closets and attics, Bry, an art/anthropology major, uses found objects to create art, or simply discovers the objects’ intrinsic artistic elements. For example, one of Bry’s pieces is 17 sculptures of people with different objects like bobby pins or candles representing body parts.

eighth blackbird flies into Grinnell tonight
Nick Malinowski ’04 has been losing sleep for weeks. First it was the notes racing through the music major’s head as he attempted to sleep each night. Now it is anxiety as he anticipates a nerve-wracking Saturday morning in Sebring-Lewis Hall.
