KDIC is on, but something is off. . .
Although I usually try to veil my personal agenda beneath some semblance of “journalistic integrity,” recent upheavals in the hierarchal structures that have for so long governed my life (i.e. the departure of senior Sarah Aswell as Arts Editor of the S&B and the reassignment of my column to the… ahem… “reviews” section of the newspaper), have left me feeling more homeless than senior Matt Becker’s good sense. Something is amiss in the kingdom of Grinnell (for more grody fantasy references, skip to the end of the article). Even the institution of KDIC has not gone unscathed. Evidence: there’s only one thing fouler than waking up to the sound of senior Adam Portilla talking dirty on the radio, and that’s this semester’s absence of sophomore John Chavez from the KDIC airwaves.
