Some very excruciating decisions
Bradley: Sadly, Films Chair Tony O. Pham couldn’t bring Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to Harris this weekend. But, for one long walk (three whole blocks!) and $5, you can see all of Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s latest run-ins with Draco Malfoy and Professor Snape in town all week. Let me mention the words “Quidditch” and “Muggle” to make it seem like I know what I’m talking about.

Save yourself, listen to rock and roll
“Embarrassingly enough, Michael Jackson probably had something to do with it,” said Ross Wiemer ’03, of his childhood interest in music. Pausing, he added, “I don’t listen to him now. He scares the hell out of me.” An early bird in every respect, Wiemer’s affiliation with 88.5 FM began pre-Grinnell. He explained, “We had a radio station at my high school. I think the call numbers were 88.5 as well, but I can’t remember the call letters. It was a good time. My friends and I would go in and get into trouble because there would always be an adult supervisor listening to us, and we’d often play some punk song with profanity that we’d ‘forgotten’ about. We were pretty immature.”

Better than a Boy band
“We’re like a group of siblings,” said Jay Wiesner ‘05 of the G-Tones. “We rag on each other sometimes ... we’re like brothers.”
