General Information

• Passwords expire after 395 days of being unchanged.
• Passwords must be at least 6 characters long.
• Your new password cannot be any of the last 3 passwords you used.

Changing your password

You can change your password using the Grinnell College password reset tool. The password reset tool requires you to enroll in the service by providing security questions. Once this process is completed, you will be allowed to change your password.

Expired passwords

If your password expires, you can still change it with Outlook Web Access. When you log in to OWA, you will immediately be presented with a change password prompt. This dialog box looks different from the one pictured above in that it does not have a Domain text box. In this case you must enter 'GRIN\username' in the Account text box, where username is replaced with your username.
