The Grinnell Singers will hold auditions on Tuesday, August 25, 3:30-5:00 pm and 7:00-8:00 pm, and Wednesday, August 26, 3:30-5:00 pm in room 152 of the Bucksbaum Center. There will be a sign-up sheet available at the Music Department orientation at 1:00 on Tuesday, August 25 in Sebring-Lewis Hall. The sign-up sheet will then be posted on the door to room 152. The auditions will consist of sight-reading, vocalizing to test range, and tonal memory exercises (singing back short melodies). If you have a prepared song that you can perform, it is helpful, but a prepared solo is not required.
