Chair's remarks: 1) Congratulations to Tim Newton, who recently won a national award from the American Choral Directors Association for his dissertation. 2) firming up retreat plans: December 12? Request for vision statements for each ensemble and area of interest (collegium, composition, etc.). Department members should also acquaint themselves with current EKI developments as we prepare for the retreat. 3) In the coming weeks, we need to make decisions regarding Curd expenditures for this year and refine our plans for the coming years.
