We have a total of $100,154.75 in Designated gifts. We need to decide how best to spend it. These funds are in addition to the two endowed Curd funds that are part of our annual budget.

$10,000 annually for five years to bring in artists of international stature for one- to three-week residencies.
Grinnell Composers Institute $12,000
Week-long summer program modeled on the Oxford University Press Summer Institute, now defunct. Professional choir in residence performs works by participating composers. Open to college students as well as professionals. There is a strong likelihood that participants in the previous Oxford festivals would attend.Other proposalsCurd Fund proposals

The treasurer's office suggests that we write a letter to be given to the Curd and Hill Award recipients. In addition to congratulating the recipients, the letter would make it clear how the money can and cannot be spent.
