Plans for trip to concert of Yo Yo Ma with DSM Symphony, September 27 or 28 (already sold out?).
Continued discussion/brainstorming regarding the Curd Fund for the Music Department ($13,000). Goal for discussion: to design the principles and criteria by which projects will be selected. Principles embraced previously: 1) maximizing scope, involvement, and visibility 2) value placed on curiricular impact. For reference: Chenette memo

- inviting visitors to enhance curriculum (instrumental specialists, conductors, visiting composers)

Update on Ashanti concert proposal from Espinoza: the chair suggested using Latin American Music Ensemble funds ($1,100 annually) and AMA recital funds ($250).
