The State Historical Society Building will be on your right and a free parking garage on your left (at the end of the block or at 7th and Grand). FYI - The parking garage is next to the Iowa Genealogical Society building. Park at the garage and walk across the street to SHSI.
Coming from the south take SE 14th Street (Highway 69) to Grand. Turn left (west) and go to the parking garage on the northwest corner of 7th and Grand. The SHSI building will be on the left (or on the south side of Grand).
Go into the SHSI building (the north door of the building is across from the parking lot) and proceed to the visitor's information desk on the main level (or first floor) next to the gift shop (take the stairs down or the elevator). ICPC Board members will be there to greet and assist you.
