How much is meaning attached to an image, assuming there is meaning at all? Can it survive a digital gamut of mouse clicks and filters? For these three pieces, I tended to look for ways to change an image drastically, keeping the parts most attractive to me, while still not completely losing all sense of space and relativity. At times, I had the right concept and could not make it work while at other times the idea best way to execute an idea came after attempting a technique once. I ended with three stunningly different pieces that probably have less to do with this statement than I'd like, but that's what art is, right? Multiple attempts to grasp a concept that may really be ungraspable.
