Current Projects
Grinnell College Photo Club
Members of Neptune Studios are currently leading the Photo Club at Grinnell College. We plan to lead photography classes, hold photo contests, and provide a venue for photographers to come together on campus.
Later Than It Seems
Neptune Studios is working in association with Frugal Pictures to produce the feature length movie Later Than It Seems. The movie is being shot during spring '06 and we aim to complete post-production by mid July.
Cross Country Documentary
Working in association with the athletic department of Grinnell College, we recorded an entire season of the Grinnell cross country team, from practices and races to social events and interviews. We ultimately aim to produce a full-length documentary, in addition to short recruiting pieces and a video yearbook for this year's runners.

Written by Andy Ver Steegh and starring Andy Ver Steegh and Matt Gerber, this short addresses social impacts of smoking. Watch
The Lord of the Rings: The Much Abbreviated Account
The flagship of all Neptune Studios productions to date, The Lord of the Rings: The Much Abbreviated Account is a 55 minute parody of both the film and book The Fellowship of the Ring. Shot primarily on a bluescreen, plate backgrounds from locations such as the Rocky Mountains, the Andes, and Tierra del Fuego create an epic backdrop for the comedy of writers Henry Reich and Ryan Murphy. Justice for All
Based on the award-winning play by Sarah Wensley, Justice for All chronicles the tale of a senator caught in a trap between his political career and his family life. Starring Phillip Christopher Williams, Kellen Hoxworth, Kate Hoff, Matt Gerber, and Sarah Wensley, this movie portrays the damaging effects of prejudice, denial, and ignorance.
