Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson joined the music department in the Fall of 1990 as an Administrative Supervisor. He handles most of the business affairs of the department but also performs technical duties and services for the entire music faculty. Musical instruments are checked out through him. He handles special requests for concert setups and also travels with the Grinnell Singers as the tour manager on their annual Spring Concert Tour. He also plays French horn in the Grinnell College Symphonic Band.

Paul has also been involved in the planning of the new Fine Arts Addition and Renovation as an active committee member and representative of the Music Department. He served in that capacity from March of 1995 through the completion of construction in early 1999.

Musical Instruments and Instrument Storage Lockers

If you are taking music lessons and need to borrow an instrument, see my student assistant in FA52 during instrument checkout hours or see me. The instrument checkout office and instrument storage room are located in the basement of the Bucksbaum Center in Room 52. My office is located in room 109B of Fine Arts Building.
