WRINKLE CITY BULLETIN
OCTOBER 3, 2005
Birthdays bring back memories. A few years ago we were visiting Grandpa's birthplace in Sioux City, IA. This a a photo of the church that his family attended - St. Paul Lutheran on 7th and Jennings St. He was baptized and confirmed here.
The parochial school he attended and the parsonage and teacher's residence are no longer standing. There are newer school facilities and the congregation was contemplating a move of the school to a new location when we were there.
Grandpa's great uncle Gruner was a major figure in the development of the original school. We still hope to get back there some day in the future to explore that history further. Perhaps 2006 will be the year. Now that we know how to get grandma back on an airplane it looks quite promising. Just .5 MG of alprazolam is good for a three hour flight.
