A QUICK and BASIC INSTRUCTION

ON: Turn the Disklavier Unit on

WAIT: Unit will ask you to wait while it boots about 30 seconds

READY: Unit is ready to accept Floppy Disk *

INSERT: Floppy Disk.

WAIT: About 15 seconds until a number comes on the screen **

TO RECORD

PRESS RECORD BUTTON: Green light will Flash

PRESS PLAY/PAUSE: You will hear a Beep.. then start playing

WHEN FINISHED/PLAYBACK

STOP: Press stop button - WAIT for Disklavier to Write to Disk

PLAY: Press play button to listen ***

SHUTTING DOWN

Do NOT leave any disks or discs in the machine ****

OFF: Press the Off Button

*There are standard disks and High Density disks. The manufacturer recommends High Density disks. Standard Disks work but you only have about half the capacity for recording.

**A blank number should show up if you are using a new disk otherwise a number showing the number of pre-recorded segments will come up.

***Just playing?: You might have to select a track number

**** Disk is a 3.5" Floppy Diskette // Disc is a CD (pre-recorded. The unit will NOT record onto CD-r/CD+r media)
