Jin Feng has taught all levels of Chinese language, Chinese literature and cutlure, "Chinese Women: Past and Present," "Freedom and Authority: the Control of Reproduction," "Food, Identity, Culture, Power" at Grinnell College. She is the author of The Making of a Family Saga: Ginling College (SUNY Press, 2009; http://www.sunypress.edu/p-4874-the-making-of-a-family-saga.aspx ), Chen Hengzhe's Early Autobiography (Anhui Education Publications, 2006), The New Woman in Early Twentieth-Century Chinese Fiction (Purdue University Press, 2004) and various other scholarly articles. She is currently researching and writing on web-based popular Chinese fiction.
