JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Dining Services reports to the AVP for Auxiliary Services and Economic Development. This position provides executive oversight, management and leadership to all College Dining Operations working collaboratively in a diverse, student-focused environment. Direct and lead the organizational structure, general administration, training programs, establishment of objectives and procedural guidelines, development of the annual budget, planning facilities and recommending personnel requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and analyze operational data and information
Review and analyze operational data and information affecting food costs, inventory, purchases, sales and personnel.

Develop and evaluate facitities and operating units
Develop and evaluate facitities and operating units according to goals and procedures, budgets, policies and compliance requirements, marketing , training, and quality assurance.

Coordinate facility review on an ongoing basis
Coordinate facility review on an ongoing basis to assess renovation needs and related budget planning; and recommend facility construction, remodeling, expansion or restructuring needs based on customer utilization, safety and efficiency.
