David Tanenhaus , ’90 – He was interviewed for a feature on NPR Weekend Edition (Sat. July 3rd) regarding the founding of juvenile courts in Chicago early this century. David is currently Assistant Professor of History at the University of Nevada.

Amy Gavel, ’97 – She is studying law at Hamline U. Law School. She is workings hard and loving it. She will also intern with the Indian Child Welfare Agency in downtown Minneapolis.

Anna Embree, ’93 - is fact-checking a fifth-grade American History textbook.

Marshall Poe, ’84 – He has taken up his new position in the Department of Government and Society at the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. In addition, he has helped refound the journal Kritta: Explorations in Russian and Eurasian History (Slavic Publishers). The first issue will appear this winter and will examine “Resistance in Russian and Soviet History.” Finally, Poe has authored a new web site [http://www.russianhistory.org] to serve as a gateway for the study of Russian history.
