The Grinnell CRs became affiliated with the National College Republicans two years ago and have been growing rapidly ever since.

Grinnell College has been reported to be one of the most liberal schools in the US by the Princeton Review for 2003, which makes our job all that much more important. Many students face difficult choices in their political idealogies throughout their college careers so we seek to provide them with accurate information and help them make the right decision.

Our Mission:

• to help elect Republicans to all levels of government.
• to provide a multi-faceted/bilateral political awareness on campus.
• to organize activities for the Republican cause, our members and the community.
• to promote an environment conducive to Republican ideas at Grinnell College.

We support an inclusive "big tent" policy in order to include all conservatives at Grinnell. Our membership is fairly diverse and consists of many different perspectives while maintaining the core vaules of conservatism.

This past year we have inducted several enthusiastic first-years who have already become an integral part of the organization. WIth their help and the support of the continuing members we hope to make this year Grinnell's best yet for conservatism.
