Mona, otherwise known as the "Persian Excursion", comes from the enthralling wild jungle that is North suburban Chicago. She spent her formative years drinking juicy juice, eating chex mix, and memorizing geographic locations of countries, their capitals, and their flags. As a direct result of this, she won the frisbee toss at Field Day in 3rd grade. This event single handedly started her love of frisbee. She then became busy as all heck and had to put frisbee on the back burner till college. Now, between frisbee, tutoring at the high school, and being in basically all the singing groups she can be in at Grinnell, she loves hugs, high-fives, and more hugs.
