Upcoming Tournaments:

Elephantitis: September - -, Grinnell, IA. Home tournament!
Glory Days: October? - -, Naperville, IL. Play some disc in the Windy City.

Past Tournaments:

2008 | 2007 | 2006 | 2005

2008:

Regionals: Decorah, IA. Someone needs to give me a recap of this tournament.
Sectionals: Ames, IA. The Grinnellephants battled through some truly nasty weather to cinch fifth place and a bid to Regionals. Even better, no one has developed frostbite-induced gangrene (yet). Huzzah!
High Tide: Savannah, Georgia, spring break. Four days of frisbee. Grinnellephants took third (!!) place, rocking some state schools and falling eventually to a very chill Marquette team with their own little Bindman clone.
Frostbite V: We are the Chumpions! 6-1 for the weekend, 25th place, and a positive 50-something point differential. Oh, and absolutely gorgeous weather. Why don't we go to school in Missouri?
Mardi Gras XXI: No, it's in Baton Rouge. Yes, it is about 14 hours of driving.

2007:

Missouri Loves Company: Jefferson City, MO in November? Yes, if that's your thing.
Hallowinona XIII: Winona, MN. Costumes mandatory.
Glory Days: Off to Chi-city.
Hucktoberfest: Whitewater, WI. Lost all but one game, yet still came out with a positive point differential. How does that work?
Elephantitis: Grinnell, IA. Beautiful weather, an epic party as always, and no less than three Grinnell teams. Awesome.
Midnight Dream: Unofficial post-school tournament. Attended by possibly more captains and ex-captains than regular players. Came out strong, cinched 3rd place by winning a boat race.
Regionals: Decorah, IA. Well, the bad news is that we didn't beat CUT or Madison to make it to Nationals. The good news is that we broke seed and had a pretty good time.
Sectionals: Ames, IA. Rockin'. Got 4th, which was more than good enough to make Regionals.
High Tide: Savannah, Georgia. The Grinnellephants really stepped up on this one. We rolled our pool on the first day with victories against a scrappy Maryland team, the well-oiled UW Eau Claire, and the very chill (and somewhat barefoot) Clarkson. The second day saw a win against Vassar B, a hard-fought win against a team called the Spurbury Police Department, and a loss to the intense man D of UW Milwaukee. Starting single-elimination play in the top bracket, we pulled out our second win in our second close, intense game against UW Eau Claire of the tournament. We were knocked out by Amherst's Army of Darkness in the semis, leaving us tied at 3rd place (since there was no consolation game against Vassar A scheduled). Since when does a Grinnell team place 3rd in a twenty-team pool?! Since now, bitches! Hell yeah!
Frostbite: Cancelled due to the crazy death ice storm. Que triste...
Mardi Gras: Baton Rouge, LA. A damn good showing, especially against all those southern dude who have been playing all winter. Even better, no one got thrown in jail this year!

2006:

Some tourneys in fall '06: If one of you wants to email me with a list of tourneys and trite recaps, I'll put it up here. Not you Conor McGee, I want unoffensive recaps.
Sectionals: Despite a good showing in pool play, we fell short of a regionals bid. Still, a good time was had by all. I hope.
Mardi Gras: Let's chalk that up as a "learning experience."

2005:

HalloWinona XI: Winona, MN. Last tournament of the semester. We rocked the shit out of the A bracket. And by that I mean we didn't lose every game.

Yes, there were tournaments before this...but Ian Young doesn't care, and you shouldn't either.
