Update on AV support search: David Romano has agreed to represent ISC on the search committee. Phone interviews will be conducted next week, followed by on-campus interviews.
Campus planning: Anne Newman and Jim Newton, consultants from Shepley Bulfinch Richardson Abbott, met with various groups on campus Feb. 23-24 to discuss general issues for campus planning and issues related to internationalization and interdisciplinary visions of the curriculum, including whether we have sufficient classrooms (number, size, and type) for our current program .
Summer Workshops:
- Advising as Teaching: approved. This workshop must be completed before June 30.
- Workshop for Tutorial Instructors: approved
- Portfolio: approved
- Peace Studies: approved
- Curating Across Campus: approved provided sufficient interest outside of Art Department.
- Teaching Film Across the Disciplines: approved
- Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies for the 21st Century: approved
- Literacies in the Digital Age: approved
- Biological Chemistry: not approved
- Mini-workshop in Health Studies: approved. Wording of description should be crafted to appeal to a broad audience.
