The Committee was convened at 12:05 p.m.

Committee members were asked to introduce themselves.

Allen provided an update on the entering class to committee members and handed out an admission profile of the Class of 2011. A brief discussion on what other data would be appropriate on the profile ensued and will be included in the next update to the Committee.

The agenda for the upcoming year was discussed and resolved that the committee would focus on the following:

1) further conversation on the No Limits theme;
2) defining the Grinnell story used in admission presentations;
3) discussion on international enrollment including conversation with Jon Edwards, the college’s new international admission officer;
4) the future role of the Admission Board;
5) loan forgiveness;
6) the role and use of Early Decision.

The Committee adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
