Summary
Admission and Financial Aid Committee Meeting
December 4, 2006

The Committee met at noon on December 4, 2006 in the Rosenfield Center. In response to an earlier request from Professor Willis, Sarah White (assistant dean of admission), Tami Hrasky (senior associate dean of admission), and Jim Sumner described in detail the admission rating system approved by the College faculty some years ago and in use since that time. The system is a 4-36 point system which allows a maximum of 18 points for previous academic performance, 9 points for promise of contribution out side the classroom, and 9 points for ACT or SAT scores. Considerable questioning followed and the Committee adjourned at 1:15 PM
