Located just north of 8th Avenue on Park Street in Grinnell,
the Grinnell College Campus Garden is planned, developed, and cultivated
each year by volunteers under the auspices of the Environmental
Action Group. The garden currently hosts a strawbale toolshed,
two student sculptures, a compost pile, and several raised beds
with vegetables, herbs, and native prairie plantings. Produce
from the garden is used in the college dining halls and donated to Mid-Iowa Community Action. Volunteers are welcomed.
