The Compass Plant CSA (Community
Supported Agriculture) connects food producers to consumers offering
a wide array of local produce, eggs, meat, and baked goods on
a weekly basis throughout the growing season.
The story of the beginning of the Compass Plant CSA is told in "Joining the Food Revolution in Grinnell," by Professor Jonathan Andelson, which will be a chapter in a book on local food systems to be published in Fall 2005 by Free River Press.
2003 Produce List by Week shows
the produce that was provided to CSA members in 2003. Similar
items were provided in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
