Prairie Information

The Arbor Lake Watershed Project was developed by Imagine Grinnell and is administered by the Poweshiek Soil & Water Conservation District.

Grinnell College's Athletic Field Complex and Prairie Plantings includes nearly three acres of prairie plantings and 30 species of native prairie plants.

The Center for Prairie Studies is promoting the establishment of prairie boulevard plantings in the Grinnell community by starting a demonstration garden right outside its front door.
