Do
the Wealthy Deserve to Be Wealthier?
The basic issue behind rising inequality in America is that those that are wealthy in America are relatively wealthier than they used to be, while those that are not wealthy are actually relatively worse off than in the past. The basic question to you is whether the wealthy in America deserve to be wealthier. Stanley and Danko seem to think so since they argue that the wealthy become wealthy only because of sacrifices and careful planning. On the other hand, they also say that luck plays a role. What do you think?
For this assignment, I do not want you to see a complete paper. I only want to see a complete introduction, a complete conclusion, and then a list of the topic sentences that you think would come in between. Now, if it is easier for you, feel free to write the complete paper. But for our tutorial sessions I want you to turn in only this basic skeleton.
You should
have a title page, one or more pages with the introduction, a single page
with your list of topic sentences for the body, and your conclusion.
