Chapter 32 section 9 and Chapter 34 sections 1 - 3
Questions: 1) Ch 32 question 8
2) Ch 34 question 2.3) Figure 34-5 shows and Equations 34-1 and 34-2 describe the electric and magnetic fields for an electromagnetic wave traveling in the x-direction.
Describe the force that would this exert on an electron sitting on the x-axis. Describe the force would this exert on an electron that was displaced just off the x-axis, in say the y-direction.
