Community Service Paper & Presentation

        Each of you will give a 5 minute oral report on your community service project during the final exam time.  (Please note: because the final exam is oral reports to the group, don’t ask to be excused from the final or to take your final at a different time.) Hand in a three page reflection on your experience.  In both the oral and written presentations, respond, at a minimum, to the following questions. What did you do?  What did you learn about the nature of community?  What was positive about the experience?  What was negative?  Of what worth was the experience to you as a growing, thoughtful, caring human being?

         You will receive a separate grade for the oral report and for the written report.  Grading will be on an E-S-U scale.  E = Excellent; far exceeds requirements; S = Satisfactory; meets requirements; U = Unsatisfactory; doesn’t meet requirements.
