Converting an image to Grid format

  1. Use "Image to Grid" tool in ArcToolbox.
  2. Make sure to apply to all image bands.
  3. Carefully choose name and location for Grid dataset.
  • Assign a projected coordinate system to the image.
    1. Use "Define Projection Wizard (Coverages, Grids, TINs)" tool in ArcToolbox.
