Due to the clustering of larger forms along the right half of the image, Boers creates an asymmetrical design. Equilibrium is established by making the two smaller objects on the left the lightest and darkest elements in the image (thereby commanding more attention), and using the expanse of wall in the background to offset the larger objects. |
