Let's
pretend your Italian friend, Franco Rossi, a student from Rome, is visiting
you in the U.S. This is Franco's first visit to the U.S., and he doesn't
speak English. You are going to have to help your friend get acquainted
with some aspects of your town. Please click on the different colored
items to go to the respective town locales. Franco will be asking you
a number of questions. You will be asked to listen to Franco's questions
and then to respond. |
Welcome to the Alternate Language Study Option (ALSO) Program's Franco fa una Visita. This is a new and different opportunity for you to practice some of the Italian language you've been studying. I hope you will find this new approach engaging and fun. After you've finished practicing with Franco fa una Visita, don't forget to continue your practice with live conversation, either with a friend or with someone who is always there for you: that is, you, yourself. Franco fa una Visita is designed for ALSO 101.02, second semester Italian. For more information about the Alternate Language Study Option (ALSO) Program, please visit the program website.
