History 329.01
Spring 2002
Each student will have the opportunity to present the outlines of their project to the rest of the class. Each presentation should be about 10 to 15 minutes long and accomplish the following:
1. Identify the key analytical
debate or question that exists in the literature or grows out
of your reading of the primary sources.
2. Explain what the secondary literature has to say on this question.
3. Explain what your primary source has to say on the question.
4. Present what might be your interpretation at this point.
For purposes of the presentation, I want you to prepare a one page overview so the class can follow along. Get that handout to me no later than 15 minutes before your class starts so that I can make copies for the class. (Alternatively, you can make your own copies but you should let me know ahead of time.
