In The Craft of Research read pp. 85-148. Think about your own project in light of these chapters. In terms of The Craft of Research, what would the argument for your paper look like. On a single page, list the elements of your overall argument.

What is your main claim? What sub-claims do you think will be necessary? What evidence do you have for those? Are there any warrants that will need to be made explicit? Your paper should use the same terms that appear in the Craft of Research.

Please list the different elements out so that they are clearly identifiable.

This assignment is due the evening before your assigned discussion date. You will need to get copies to the other members of your discussion group. Work that out among yourselves. I will need a hard copy under my office door or in my hand by 7 pm.
