Internships with
Museums, Galleries,
etc.
This is a first rate site which gives state by state links to art related internship possibilities.  While intended for graduate students in art history, many of the museums, galleries, art councils, etcetera will consider advanced undergraduate majors, particularly if the position is volunteer.
The site begins with links to general resources for museum and volunteer work experience, followed by the state by state individual listings.  Read carefully to see which apply to undergraduates.  And it never hurts to ask....

Art History
Graduate Program
Statistics
This is a superb site which is devoted to comparing art history graduate programs in the United States.   It has a wealth of information unavailable anywhere else.  The author lists 128 programs (MA and PhD), ranks them by effectiveness, quality, faculty  size, age of program; the training of the program faculty overall and by assistant and associate professor rank (helpful for assessing programs); and training of faculty by area of specialization (helpful for assessing the disciplinary area strengths of different programs).  In addition, all the PhD and MA programs listed are linked to the graduate program websites so you can do all your searching from this site.   Outdated (last revised Sept. 2000- broken links and graphics).
