The staff of the Writing Lab would like to welcome you to the Grinnell College Writing Lab web site! This site presents information about the Grinnell College Writing Lab, showcases the Writing Forum, the Grinnell College newsletter on the teaching of writing, and links you to resources to help you with your writing.

In the Writing Lab, you can get individualized tutoring to help you improve your writing. You may do so in one of two ways: in the one-credit College Writing (CW 100) you bring to your weekly appointment writing on which you have been working; in visiting the lab on a non-credit basis, you make an appointment or series of appointments to confer with a staff membe about your writing.

In either case, try to make appointments with the staff member well ahead of time. You can do so by visiting the lab and signing your name on the posted schedule sheets, by calling the lab at X3117, or by sending an e-mail message to our friendly office managers or to one of the staff members.
