Membership in the Grinnell Country Club requires that you own one share of stock. The college owns shares of stock and you may use a share upon request if you are sponsored by a voting member of the Grinnell Country Club. You may request more information by contacting the Office of Human Resources or the Office of the Treasurer. You are responsible for paying all annual Grinnell Country Club membership dues and any other fees or assessments.
You, your dependant children, and your spouse/domestic partner are eligible to use college facilities and should obtain an official college identification card (I.D.). These photo I.D. cards are available at the Dining Services Office at a nominal charge.
Public areas of the Physical Education Complex (PEC) are available to college I.D. holders whenever they are not closed or reserved for classes and/or athletic events. Children who are age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult and show their I.D. Hours open to staff and rules are posted in the Physical Education Complex.
You and your spouse/domestic partner may check out books and use other available services at the college's libraries using your College I.D. Special rules apply for dependent children.
You may reserve areas of the Forum and/or Herrick Chapel for special family events by contacting the Office of Communications and Events.

The Physical Education Department regularly circulates a list of available programs prior to the beginning of each semester. You must register with the Physical Education Department to participate. The Physical Education Department may cancel a particular program if too few employees register.
You may send personal packages by United Parcel Service (UPS) through the Campus Post Office. The normal pickup rate for UPS is paid by the college and you pay the actual cost of mailing the package by UPS. You may not use this service for profit or as part of a business.

To take a job-related course, you must submit a written application to your supervisor. The application must include the course description and a detailed discussion of how the course will benefit you in your current position (present and future). If the course is offered at an institution other than Grinnell, you must also include the institution's name, tuition, and costs of required books. If your supervisor approves, he/she must add his/her supporting recommendation and forward the request to the Office of Human Resources 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester.
